GSCC hosts upcoming campus blood drives

The Gadsden State Community College Student Government Association is sponsoring several blood drives during the fall semester in conjunction with the American Red Cross.

The mobile unit will be at the Valley Street Campus Tuesday, September 16.

The second drive will be held Wednesday, September 24 at Beck Field House on the Wallace Drive Campus.

In October, drives will be held at the Ayers Campus in Anniston on Tuesday, October 14 and Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre on Thursday, October 16.

The final drive of the semester will be held December 2 at Beck Field House. The time for all of the drives is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The American Red Cross indicates that Alabama blood drives continue to be down across the state and the blood supply is critically low.

All students, faculty, staff and community members are encouraged to donate.
