Feb. 6

Gadsden City girls varsity basketball team lost Friday’s playoff game against Southside 34-41.

For Gadsden City Madison Tinker had 14 points for the Titans, followed by Amauri Bowie with 12 points Naomi Taylor, with 5 points,  and Jac’keria Woods had 3 points.

The Etowah girls varsity basketball team defeated Ashville on Friday night 61-37.  

For the Lady Blue Devils, Myiricle Alexander had 15 points, 

Jalaiah McGhee and Cali Wadley both had 12 points each, followed by Maggy Bennett with 7 points and Janny Kate Bennett with 6 points.  

The West End girls varsity basketball team won Friday night’s playoff game against Southeastern 45-33.  

The Hokes Bluff girls varsity basketball team won Friday’s home playoff game against Oneonta 43-24.

The Coosa Christian girls varsity basketball team won Friday’s home playoff game against Victory Christian 51-43.

Feb. 7

The Sardis girls varsity basketball team defeated Crossville on Saturday, 88-8.

The Glencoe girls varsity basketball team won Saturday’s home playoff game against Ohatchee 63-37.

The Westbrook Christian girls varsity basketball team won Saturday’s playoff game against Piedmont 29-24.

The Gaston girls varsity basketball team lost Saturday’s playoff game against Cedar Bluff 73-43. 

The Westbrook Christian boys varsity basketball team won Saturday’s tournament game against Piedmont 47-40.For Westbrook Brady Carden had 17 points , ten reb, and five assist, Case Burton had 13 points,  five reb,  two blocks and one assist, Titus Jones 8 had  points, four reb,  two steals and one assist, Bo Kilgo had 7 points,  five reb, and five assist

Feb. 9

The Hokes Bluff girls’ varsity basketball team won Monday’s home conference game against Etowah 36-34.

The Southside girls’ varsity basketball team lost Monday’s playoff game against Fort Payne 44-67.

The West End girls varsity basketball team won Monday’s playoff game against Cleveland 36-33.

The Coosa Christian girls varsity basketball team lost Monday’s game against Appalachian 30-54. 

The Sardis boys varsity basketball team won Monday’s home tournament game against Douglas 77-43.

Feb. 10

The Westbrook boys varsity basketball team won Tuesday’s tournament game against Glencoe 63-52.  

For Westbrook:  Case Burton had 18 points ,9 reb ,1 steal, 2 block,  Brodey Wood had 15 points, 3 reb, 2 steal, and 3 assists, Titus Jones had 14 points, 5 reb, 2 steal, and  3 assist, Brady Carden had 10 points, 5 reb, 3 steal,  3 block and Bo Kilgo had 5 points,7 reb, and 10 assist

Southside High School girls varsity basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face Mountain Brook High School on Friday.

Sardis High School girls varsity basketball team is headed the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face Russellville High School on Friday.

Hokes Bluff High School girls varsity basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face St. John Paul II on Friday.

Glencoe High school girls varsity basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face Asbury High School on Friday.

West End High School girls varsity basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face North Sand Mountain on Friday.

Coosa Christian girls varsity basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face Ider High School on Friday.

Feb. 14 Boys

The Gadsden City Varsity Boys basketball team is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals and will face Huffman High School on Saturday.

Sardis High School is headed to the State Tournament Semi-Finals this Saturday, where they will face Lawrence County with a trip to the State Finals on the line.

Glencoe High School varsity boys basketball team is set to compete in the State Semi-Finals on Saturday, taking on Whitesburg Christian Academy.
