Hodges-Ford hires lifelong Gadsden resident as newest insurance agent

Hodges-Ford Insurance Agency, Inc. announced on Wednesday, July 23 that  its newest insurance agent Eddie Edwards joined the firm in Rainbow City. He will be selling personal and commercial lines of insurance. 

Hodges-Ford Insurance Agency, Inc. is a insurance firm offering home, automobile, life and commerical insurance to the public and businesses in Alabama. Its mission is to provide the best products  Alabama workers and businesses need while saving them all available monies possible and ensuring they are covered with the very best products available.

A lifelong Gadsden resident, Edwards graduated from Gadsden High School and the University of Alabama. In 1993, he moved back to Gadsden, where he started a family with wife, Jill Edwards.

Edwards and his wife have three children, Will, 12 years old, who attends Westbrook Christian School and Anna Cate, 10 and Jake, 8, who attend Eura Brown Elementary School. 

Prior to selling insurance, Edwards was a car salesman and real estate agent, where we worked in property management and development, multi-family and self-storage real estate. 

Edward’s wife is an interior decorator and owns J. Edwards designs in Gadsden. 

Edwards is involved in his children’ s soccer and baseball organizations, and his family attends Rainbow Presbyterian Church in Rainbow City. 

Edwards said about his new position at Hodges-Ford, “I’m just really excited. Come in and see us, we can take care of all your insurance needs from personal lines like home and auto to commercial.”
