Alabama Week 10 Review
The Alabama defense blanked the LSU offense last Saturday (Nov. 5) as the Crimson Tide captured a 10-0 win over the Tigers. Jalen Hurts carried the ball 20 times for 114 yards and a touchdown and threw for 107 yards. The Alabama defense held the LSU offense to only 125 yards for the entire game. The Tide (9-0, 6-0) hosts Mississippi State this Saturday (Nov. 12) at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Auburn Week 10 Review
It wasn’t Auburn’s best performance of the season, but the Tigers did just enough to secure a 23-16 win over Vanderbilt. Sean White didn’t start the game at quarterback due to a hurt shoulder but played in the second half after John Franklin III struggled to throw the ball in his absence. Kamryn Pettway carried the ball 25 times for 173 yards but hurt his hamstring on a 60-yard run late in the game. Auburn (7-2, 5-1) travels to Athens to take on Georgia this Saturday.

Week 11 Previews and Predictions
Week 10: 6-2; season: 68-15
Game of the Week
LSU at Arkansas (+7). The Razorbacks dominated Florida in a 31-10 victory last week to become bowl eligible and now look to beat LSU for the third consecutive season. The Tigers were shutout in a loss to Alabama, and Leonard Fournette only mustered 35 yards. The LSU offense should find more success on Saturday but the defense might have trouble with Arkansas’s balanced attack. Prediction: Arkansas 24, LSU 21.
Auburn at Georgia (+9). If the Tigers get past Georgia, they will enter the Iron Bowl with a chance to win the SEC West Division. Auburn was helped tremendously when Mississippi State upset Texas A&M but now the Tigers must go on the road and defeat the rival Bulldogs. Kirby Smart is familiar with Auburn’s offense after serving as the defensive coordinator at Alabama. If Auburn running back Kamryn Pettway is injured and can’t play, the Tigers might have a difficult time moving the ball. Georgia leads the all-time series 56-55-8. Prediction: Auburn 31, Georgia 24.
Kentucky at Tennessee (-15). Both the Volunteers and Wildcats still have a chance to win the SEC East. A loss would likely take the loser out of contention, but both teams need help either way. Florida will need to lose at least once more for Te-nnessee and Kentucky to have a chance. The SEC East race is far from over. Prediction: Tennessee 38, Kentucky 31.
Mississippi State at Alabama (-29). The Bulldogs pulled off one of the biggest upsets in the conference this season when they defeated Texas A&M last week, but they’re facing a much tougher challenge on Saturday. Alabama has won eight straight in this series, and the Crimson Tide defense will be too much for the Bulldogs’ offense to handle. Prediction: Alabama 30, Mississippi State 3.
South Carolina at Florida (-15). South Carolina is 3-0 since freshman quarterback Jake Bentley took over as the starter, and believe it or not, the Gamecocks are still alive in the SEC East. They will certainly need help, but a win over Florida would at least give them an outside chance at winning the di-vision. Florida is still in the driver’s seat in the East but must defeat the Gamecocks and LSU to clinch the division. Prediction: Florida 20, South Carolina 13.
Ole Miss at Texas A&M (-11). Both the Aggies and the Rebels have each lost their starting quarterbacks within the last week. Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly is out for the year with a knee injury, while Texas A&M quarterback Trevor Knight is out with a shoulder injury. Both teams are practically eliminated from contention in the SEC West, and both squads will limp down the stretch after losing their signal-callers. Prediction: Texas A&M 24, Ole Miss 17.
Vanderbilt at Missouri (-1.5). The Commodores nearly pulled off the upset against Auburn, but a late interception ended the upset bid. Bowl eligibility is still a possibility for Van-derbilt, but it must win two of its last three games. Vandy plays Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee to end the season. Prediction: Vanderbilt 20, Missouri 17.
