The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at The University of Alabama (OLLI at UA) and The Gadsden Center have partnered to offer another exciting Summer semester for its members! OLLI at UA in Gadsden is offering thirteen classes that meet once a week for a duration of four to eight weeks. Six weekly bonus events and five exciting field trips are also available for the Summer 2014 term in Gadsden. 

The general Summer membership fee for OLLI at UA in Gadsden is $20 and allows member access to all social gatherings until Aug. 31, 2014.  If a member is interested in taking courses, the additional fee is $30 a semester and covers all classes, participation in the weekly bonus events, social gatherings, and field trips. Some field trips may require an additional fee to cover accommodations. 

OLLI at UA in Gadsden provides mature adults with opportunities for intellectual stimulation, cultural development, and social interaction for Spring, Summer, and Fall semesters. Participants can learn for the joy of learning, without the pressure of tests or grades.

OLLI’s educational programs are centered on courses developed by and often taught by its members. The curriculum changes each semester so there is always something new to discover! OLLI at UA in Gadsden is constantly looking for new teachers and new subjects to offer. New volunteers and always welcomed with open arms! As the chapter membership grows, additional classes will be offered to its members.
