With the close of the regular season, local high school volleyball teams will compete in their respective area tournaments this week. Area winners and runners-up qualify for the North Regional Tournament on Oct. 23-25 at the Finley Center at the Hoover Met Complex in Hoover. The top four teams at the regionals will compete at the state tournament on Oct. 29-31 at Harris Arena at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
