Locals place in top 10 at Black & Gold 5K

A trio of local runners finished in the top 10 at the Black & Gold Classic 5K on Saturday, Sept. 30 in Scottsboro.
In the boys’ race of 124 competitors, Hokes Bluff’s Ethan Patterson placed fourth with a time of 16:59.07.
In the girls’ run of 74 runners, Hokes Bluff’s Emma Godfrey placed seventh at 21:08.00, while Glencoe’s Sarah Ponder (pictured above) came in 10th at 21:25.20.
