Snead State honors nursing students inducted into Honor Society

Snead State Community College recently celebrated the academic achievements of its nursing students during the induction ceremony for the Iota Nu Chapter of the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society of Nursing.

The ceremony recognized students enrolled in the Associate Degree Nursing program who demonstrated excellence in the classroom and a commitment to professionalism and integrity in the field of nursing.

The mission of the Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society is to recognize the academic excellence of students in the study of Associate Degree Nursing. The society encourages the pursuit of advanced degrees in the profession of nursing, as well as continuing education as a lifelong professional responsibility.

Snead State’s Iota Nu Chapter is part of the national Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (OADN) and reflects the college’s ongoing commitment to promoting high standards in nursing education. The college first established the chapter in 2025.

Students inducted into the Iota Nu Chapter included:

Gallant: Michelle Mason.

Gadsden: Makeisha Davis, Jaylin Ezekiel, and Crismary Terrero.

Hokes Bluff: Talia Mayhall.
