Gadsden State Community College will hold auditions for Swoop, the Cardinal mascot Wednesday, May 13 at 3:30 p.m. in the Inzer Hall TV Lounge (Room #107) located on the Wallace Drive Campus in Gadsden.
Interested students who are energetic and enthusiastic may audition, and two students will be awarded partial tuition scholarships beginning Fall Semester 2015. Auditions will include a brief interview and spontaneous movement in mascot costume.
Swoop makes appearances at PR events, parades, home athletic games, recruiting opportunities and alumni events in Calhoun, Cherokee, and Etowah counties.
