Gadsden State falls in state tournament semifinals

Gadsden State gave Shelton State a run for its money in the Alabama Community College Conference Tournament semifinals last Tuesday (Mar. 5), but the top-seeded Lady Bucs held on for an 80-67 victory in women’s basketball at Wallace State-Hanceville.

Cazenave solid in Westbrook win over Glencoe

McCants steps up in final GSCC home game

In his final game in front of his home fans, Gadsden City High graduate and Gadsden State sophomore Kenric McCants netted 26 points to lead GSCC to a 79-75 victory over Alabama Community College Conference rival Snead State on Feb. 28 at Beck Field House.

Auburn Week 8 recap

The Auburn women’s team split pair of games last week – a road loss to Tennessee and a home win versus Missouri. The Tigers are now 15-12 overall and 4-10 in conference play. Auburn takes on Mississippi State on Sunday (Mar. 3) to close out the regular season.
