Authors unveiled: Thompson students write book

With the help of Sarrell Dental of Attalla and the NFL Players Alumni Association, Thompson Elementary third, fourth and fifth grade students got to see the published product of labors that began last fall. Hokes Bluff mourns loss of Mayor Gary W. Reeves

The Hokes Bluff community lost a dedicated public servant on May 26, with the passing of Hokes Bluff Mayor Gary W. Reeves.

Reeves was serving his second term as mayor, after his initial election in 2008.
