Musical spotlights Patsy Cline’s hits at Ritz this weekend and next

Theatre of Gadsden (TOG) will produce a two-weekend run of “Always…Patsy Cline” at the historic Ritz Theatre located at 310 Wall Street in downtown Alabama City.
According to a press rel-ease, TOG’s latest show is a “heartfelt musical revue that tells the true story of country music legend Patsy Cline’s unlikely friendship with a fan, Louise Seger, over years of writing letters to each other.”
The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love Always… Patsy Cline.”
The production is a two-woman show filled with down-home country humor, heartfelt friendship and plenty of music with Casey Browning Shehi playing Louise Seger and Courtney Linam playing Patsy Cline.
Dozens of Cline’s songs will be performed from, including well-known classic hits such as “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams” and “Crazy.”
Showtimes are 7 p.m. on July 21, 22, 28 and 29 and 2 p.m. on July 23 and 30.
For tickets, visit www.theatreofgadsden.org, or the TOG’s box office link at www.purplepass.com/togpatsy.
Admission is $20 for adults, $18 for students/seniors/military and $15 for groups of 10 or more.
Tickets are reserved seating and also will be available at the box office beginning one hour prior to showtime as seating allows.
