Have you ever walked into a room and wondered if you really belonged there? Maybe you’ve sat in church looking around and thinking everyone else seems more qualified, more gifted, or more prepared than you. It’s easy to feel like you’re just taking up space while others seem to know exactly where they fit.
But here is a truth that can change the way you see yourself. Your presence is not an accident. God did not randomly place you where you are. He intentionally included you in His story.
You are not here to be a spectator. You are not here simply to fill a seat. You are here because the Creator of the universe looked at His plan and decided you were needed. Your life, your gifts, and even your experiences are part of the way God builds His kingdom.
Scripture reminds us that the church is like a body with many parts. Every part matters. No single part can do the job alone, and none are unnecessary.
“Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ… Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.”
1 Corinthians 12:12–14
That means your presence matters more than you realize. Every time you show up, you are stepping into a divine appointment. God placed you exactly where you are for a reason. Your voice, your service, your encouragement, and your faith all play a role in something bigger than any one person could accomplish alone.
So stop questioning whether you belong. Instead, begin to embrace the truth that God chose you to be part of His work. When you understand that, you move from simply attending to actively participating in what God is doing.
You are not here by coincidence. You are not here just to observe or to fill a seat. God placed you here on purpose. And the real question is this: what would change in your life if you truly believed that God specifically chose you to be part of His bigger plan?
Walk in grace. Stand in truth. Live blessed.
