Christopher Holder, a student at Gadsden City High School, earned an eighth-place finish at the National Academic Quiz Tournament Individual Player National Championship in Chicago on Sunday. Holder competed against more than 290 students for the national title, scoring 565 points across the tournament. The highest score was 800, and the lowest was -15.
