Don’t go to Southeastern School Friday night looking for a football game.

Since the Mustangs don’t have a home stadium yet, Coosa Christian will play them at Locust Fork.

Southeastern is still in the building process, both on the football field and in the school – there are no seniors as of yet.

“If we play like we’re capable of and if we play four quarters, we should come out with a victory,” Coosa coach Scott Clifton said. “But like I tell the kids, you can’t overlook anyone or they’ll jump up and surprise you.”

With the Conquerors enjoying a bit of late-season success, Clifton said that his team can’t “fall into the trap of thinking we’re better” than Southeastern.

Last week against Woodville, Mills finished with 217 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 22 carries.

Johnny Grizzard added 70 yards on five carries and completed five of 16 passes for 95 yards.
