Conquerors come up short to JCA

  Jacksonville Christian Academy won its first game of the season with a 46-20 victory over Coosa Christian on Friday in Jacksonville. 

JCA improved to 1-2, including 1-1 in Class 1A, Region 7. Coosa Christian dropped to 0-3, including 0-2 in the region.

For Coosa Christian, Johnny Grizzard hit Caiden Lipscomb on a 24-yard touchdown strike. The Conquerors added a 46-yard run by Randy Washington in the third quarter and a 20-yard pass for a touchdown in the fourth from Grizzard to Lipscomb.

Coosa Christian visits Woodville next week for another region game.
