Etowah County to host Small Business Saturday

At the Gadsden City Council meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 25, Mayor Sherman Guyton proclaimed Nov. 29 as Small Business Saturday. The shop small event will begin at 8 a.m.

Small Business Saturday is similar to Black Friday, but with local shops offering discounts. 

In conjunction with the National Shop Small campaign, Etowah County is teaming up for the largest participation for a county our size for Small Business Saturday.  The first 20 shoppers at a participating location will recieve a free commemorative #shopsmalletowah shopping bag.

These locations are offering up to 50 percent off. Some locations are offering door prizes. Others are even offering free or low-price food and drinks.
