GSCC to host talent show March 3

Gadsden State Community College Student Activities will host the show of “Top 10 Talents” on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Wallace Fine Arts Center Auditorium in Gadsden. 

Ten student acts will compete for prizes of $200 first place, $150 second place, and $100 for third place. 

Solo vocalists performing include: Rachel Berry of Hokes Bluff, Cianna Bynum of Leesburg, Tiquantis Ethridge of Gadsden, Katlyn Helms of Attalla, Zondra Hindsman of Tallapoosa (Ga.), and Debbie Sullivan of Centre. A vocal duet accompanied by piano will be performed by Hannah Gregg of Cedar Bluff and Diana Martinez of Albertville. Alexandria natives Katie Sisk and Kyle Coppock will perform a vocal duet with guitar accompaniment. Rounding out the talent for the evening will be dancer Cam Howard of Huntsville and Ronald Williamson of Anniston. Williamson will solve the Rubik’s Cube 3-D combination puzzle in less than 90 seconds. Additional entertainment for the event will be provided by the Gadsden State Singers, Miss Gadsden State Savannah Wash doing an artistic painting, and a mystery guest performer. 

Talent show judges are Bridgette Lovelace-Howard, Gadsden City High School drama instructor; David Humphrey, Cathedral of Praise minister of music; and Desmond Mitchell, Anniston High School music instructor. 

Admission is free, and the community is invited to attend and support these talented students.
