Reed to perform at Third Thursday

The Third Thursday concert series will kick off next week, May 21 from 6-8 p.m. with Delnora Reed.  

Delnora is an entertainer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. She has been performing her signature blend of roots, country and folk music across the country since she was a teenager, continuing a long and distinguished family tradition in music.  Throughout her career she has written with some of Nashville’s finest songwriters. Two years ago she began working with Reed Nielson. They collaborated on eight remarkable songs that form the backbone of her latest solo project; “My Song”. She has just finished recording as a member of the trio The Shotgun Rubies for Grammy Award winner Carl Jackson’s latest project, “Orthophonic Joy – The 1927 Bristol Sessions Revisited.”

Delnora is a wonderful performer and she isn’t shy about sharing her love of music with the world. So don’t miss the amazing opportunity to see her. We invite you to grab your coolers, dinner and a lawn chair and join us at the water wall – between the Pitman Theatre and Senior Activity Center – Gates open at 5 p.m. and the free concert will begin at 6 p.m. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and is limited. So feel free to bring your own chair!  In the event of inclement weather the concert will be moved inside to the Pitman Theater.
