All-Etowah County volleyball team announced

Southside High placed four players on the 2014 Etowah All-County Volleyball Team, including MVP and senior Cassie Davis. 

Joining Thompson from the county tournament champion Lady Panthers were seniors Jada Thompson and Claire Graves and sophomore Savanna Yancy.

Representing county runnerup West End were seniors Brittany Self and Kaitlyn Waldrop and junior Hannah Carter.

From Hokes Bluff were senior Hannah Evans, junior Maddy Jenkins and sophomore Sydney Ball. 

Glencoe selections included seniors Madison Cole and Sally Tinker and junior Jensen Napper. 

Named from Sardis were seniors Emma Towns and Dande Rowan and sophomore Emma Schaffer. 

From Gaston were senior Abby Elrod and ju-nior Caydance Glenn.
