R.A Hubbard, 29, Coosa Christian 20

Coosa Christian came up short to R.A Hubbard, 29-20, in the Conquerors’ Class 1A, Region 7 opener last Friday (Sept. 6) in Gadsden.
For Coosa, Evan Delp caught three passes for 175 yards and three touchdowns. Trevor Horne was 2 for 3 in passing for 110 yards and two touchdowns.
Dartavious Britton had 10 tackles, followed by Horne with nine and Reece Myrick with six. Myrick also had a sack.
The Conquerors have an open date this week before traveling to Decatur Heritage on Sept. 20.

Randolph County 27, Glencoe 0

Glencoe lost to Randolph County, 27-0, in the Yellow Jackets’ Class 3A, Region 6 opener last Friday (Sept. 6). Glencoe (0-2, 0-1) hosts B.B. Comer this week for more region action.

Ranburne 54, Gaston 0

Gaston fell to Ranburne, 54-0, in Class 2A, Region 6 action Friday (Sept. 6). The Bulldogs (0-2, 0-1) visit Sylvania this week in non-region action.
