On October 21 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Downtown Gadsden Inc. will once again close the Memorial Bridge for the Third Annual Sunset Sips fundraising event. The Memorial Bridge is the perfectly unique venue for a night full of fun with friends over the Coosa River watching the sunset.

Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by the Fish Market, Back Forty Beer Company and The Stone Market will provide beverages and Frios Gourmet Pops will provide tasty treats. DJ Buster Porch, the ladies of the Downtown Dance Conservatory and local artists will be there for entertainment.  The funds raised at the event will go towards continued improvements of Historic Downtown Gadsden.

Tickets for the event are $40 each and can be purchased at the Downtown Gadsden, Inc. office at 635 Broad Street.  A limited number of tickets will be available and they must be purchased by Friday October 17th.  In the event of inclement weather Sunset Sips will be moved inside the Pitman Theatre.

Downtown Gadsden, Inc. would like to thank our major sponsors, BBVA Compass and The Gadsden Times.  We would also like to thank Fambrough’s Drapery and Design, The University of Alabama Gadsden Center, Insurance Facilities of Gadsden, Greater Gadsden Area Tourism, The Fish Market, Back Forty Beer Company, The Stone Market, Frios Gourmet Pops, Kelly Signs, and Observer Office Supply as additional sponsors.
