Lady Cardinals beat Wallace-Selma

The Gadsden State women’s basketball team posted a 65-43 victory over Wallace-Selma last Saturday (Jan. 19) in Selma. 

Jasmyne Reeves scored 15 points for the Lady Cardinals (15-3), followed by Jasmine Looney with nine and Lacey Buchanon and Taylor Adams with seven each. 

Adams pulled down 11 rebounds, while Looney cleared six.

Buchanon dealt out five assists, while Kayla Beaty had four blocks. 

Gadsden State is ranked 24th in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association poll.
