Local YMCA to hold community food drive

The YMCA of the Coosa Valley, through a collaborative partnership with the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama, will hold a free food distribution day on August 31 starting at 10:30 a.m. at the pavilion behind the YMCA next to the large parking lot across from the Convention Hall. The distribution is first-come, first-serve while supplies last. No ID or proof of income is required. The YMCA is prepared to provide 150 households with food.
