The Gadsden Twirlers Square Dance club will host three Thursday evening open house meetings in January at the Gadsden Senior Activity Center.

The club meets for classes each Thursday, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the center in downtown Gadsden.

On Jan. 16, 23, and 30, everyone is invited to the open house classes so they may learn more about  square dancing: “Friendship set to music.”

After the open house classes in January, regular classes will continue beginning Feb. 6. The cost for classes is $15 a month. Ronnie Purser of Springville is the BMI/ASCAP certified caller.
