Temple exhibit open at GCSS

The artwork of former Gadsden Museum of Art Director and noted portrait painter Steve Temple is on display on the Gadsden State campus.
The exhibit opened this week with a reception in the Meadows Gallery in the Meadows Library on the GSCC campus.
The exhibition, Pieces of a Journey, features large scale paintings that showcase Temple’s talent as both a portrait artist and storyteller. It is the first of two exhibitions of Temple’s work slated in Gadsden.
A full retrospective of Temples work is planned for January at the Gadsden Museum of Art.
Admission is free for the exhibit at Meadows Gallery is located in Meadows Library on the Wallace Drive Campus of GSCC. It is a collaborative project between the Art Department and Meadows Library.
