Tour homes with the Woman’s Club

 It is time to get tickets for the Gadsden’s Woman’s Club Holiday Tour of homes  — a longtime Gadsden tradition. Gadsden’s Woman’s Club Holiday Tour will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Dec. 2.
    Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. For advance tickets call the Club House 256-547-2311, the Gadsden Museum of Art at  256-546-7365, or purchase tickets from any member.
    The tour will begin at the Woman’s  Club at 862 Chestnut Street, with plenty of Christmas decorations, holiday cheer, and refreshments.
    Then tourists will be transported back in time at the home of George W. Terrell Jr. with his amazing Prussian collection, and his collection of Gone with the Wind memorabilia.
    The Shelnutt home offers an opulent Italian style home with an array of Christmas trees and murals to catch the eye.
    The beautiful home of Donna Keeler showcases her decorating talents and collections from her travelsl.
    The Allenstein home on Turrentine in Historic District Gadsden, is a beautiful home, renovated to keep the residence flowing with southern charm and comfort.
    The tour will end with the Gadsden Museum of Art “Christmas Home & Hearth” where refreshments will also be served.
    Please wear low heels or walking shoes as a courtesy for our hosts hardwood floors.
