Lady Titan reaches career milestone

Gadsden City High junior guard Brooke Burns scored her 1,000th point earlier this season and was honored prior to the GCHS/Buckhorn game on Jan. 15.
Burns, who has 1,367 career points, currently is averaging 19.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists while shooting 91 percent at the free throw line.
The Lady Titans currently are ranked sixth in Class 7A.
