Despite Hayden Peek’s double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds, Coosa Christian fell to Faith Christian, 62-60, last Tuesday (Dec. 7) in Gadsden. John David Justus and Ty Sims each 10 points for the Conquerors, while D.J. Mackey added seven. Justus grabbed seven rebounds, while Mackey cleared five. Peek had three assists and two steals.

Evans Sizemore finished with a double-double of 21 points and 13 rebounds as Westbrook Christian defeated West End, 77-44, last Tuesday (Dec. 7) at Walnut Grove. Steven Barnes added 11 points for the Warriors (4-4), followed by Sayge Stephens and Asher Keck with eight each, Hugh Windle with seven and Eli Edge and Cameron White with six each. Edge cleared six rebounds, while Windle distributed six assists. In junior varsity action, Westbrook defeated the Patriot by a sore of 53-4. Keaton Bean scored 15 points, followed by Landon Armstrong with 10 and Ben Morrison with eight.

Jamarius Anderson scored 11 points and Carson Gillilan and Eli Ford both added 10 in Sardis’ 52-31 victory over Crossville last Tuesday (Dec. 7). Eli Morton added nine points for the Lions (6-2, 1-1).

Landon Davenport and Jordan Presley (pictured above) scored 19 and 17 points, respectively, in Hokes Bluff’s 76-38 victory over Weaver last Monday (Dec. 6). Dawson Teague and Jon Clark Wetzel each added eight points for the Eagles. Davenport pulled down five rebounds, while Harrison Millander and Kyle Patterson each cleared four.

Jordan Presley scored 24 points and Avron Nix added 13 in Hokes Bluff’s 71-41 victory over Ohatchee on December 3. Presley and Kyle Patterson each grabbed six rebounds, while Dawson Teague came up with four steals.

Westbrook Christian lost to Faith Christian, 56-51, on December 3 in Rainbow City.
Evan Sizemore and Brodie Self both posted a double-double for the Warriors (3-4), with the former finishing with 18 points and 10 rebounds and the latter 18 points and 12 boards. Hugh Windle contributed 10 points and four assists.

Coosa Christian fell to Donoho, 71-67 on December 3 in Gadsden. Hayden Peek paced the Conquerors (1-5, 0-2) with 20 points, followed by Ty Sims with 11 and Trey Woods and Drake Albury with 10 each. Peek cleared nine rebounds, followed by Sims and Wood with seven each and Albury and J.D. Justus with four each. Peek dished out four assists, Sims had four steals and Albury blocked three shots.

Sardis fell to Douglas, 65-38, on December 3. Jamarius Anderson scored nine points for the Lions (5-2, 0-1), while Eli Ford Luke Martin each had seven.
