Bella Millirons (pictured above in a 2020 photo) netted 30 to help Westbrook Christian post a 79-23 victory over Gaston last Tuesday (Dec. 14). Brielle Wood added 12 points for the Lady Warriors (8-1), while Gracie Highfield chipped in nine.

Tameah Gaddis scored 18 points and Jaedyn Sharp cleared 15 rebounds in Gadsden City’s 50-40 win over Springville last Monday at GCHS. Gaddis also had four steals for the Lady Titans (10-4).

Boys
Glencoe defeated Hokes Bluff, 59-43, last Tuesday (Dec. 14). Jordan Presley scored 14 points for Hokes Bluff (8-2), followed by Avron Nix with eight and Jaylen Simmons with seven.

West End defeated Coosa Christian, 61-50, last Monday (Dec. 13) in Gadsden. For the Conquerors, Hayden Peek finished with 25 points, six rebounds and four assists, while John David Justus contributed 18 points and six rebounds.

Southside defeated Sardis, 78-55, last Tuesday (Dec. 15) at Southside. The Panthers led 19-13 after one period, 41-29 at halftime and 56-42 after three quarters. Taylor Carr scored 28 points for Southside, while Brenton Heath added nine. Luke Martin paced the Lions (6-5, 1-2) with 24, followed by J.J. Anderson with 12.

Sardis lost to Asbury, 53-44 last Monday (Dec. 13). Eli Morton scored 16 points for the Lions (6-4, 1-2).

Hokes Bluff fell to Geraldine, 72-59, on December 10. For the Eagles, Jordan Presley scored 15 points, followed by John Clark Wetzel with 11, Avron Nix with nine, Jaylen Simmons with eight and Harrison Millander with seven. Nix and Simmons each grabbed six rebounds, while Patterson and Presley both cleared five.

Coosa Christian lost to Cedar Bluff, 52-49, on December 10. For the Conquerors, Hayden Peek finished with a double-double of 20 points and 16 rebounds while distributing four assists. Ty Sims scored11 points. Drake Albury chipped in six points and five rebounds, while John David Justus cleared 10 boards.

Sardis fell to Boaz, 70-52, on December 10. Luke Martin paced the Lions (6-3, 1-2) with 12 points, while Eli Morton scored 11.

Westbrook Christian defeated Donoho, 57-49, on December 10 in Rainbow City. Hugh Windle paced the Warriors (5-4) with 15 points, while Evans Sizemore finished with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds. Brodie Self added 11 points and eight boards. In junior varsity action,
Westbrook beat Donoho, 58-23. Ben Morrison scored 25 points while Greyson Carroll added 15.
