Hokes Bluff grad named OVC Athlete of the Week

Jacksonville State senior and Hokes Bluff High School graduate Tylynn Register was named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week this past week. Register finished runner-up in the 400-meter hurdles at the Georgia Southern GATA Classic with a time of 1:03.65, less than a second behind her career-best mark. It was Register’s third career podium in the event. She also ran the second leg of the 4×400-meter relay for the Lady Gamecocks, where she helped JSU finish fourth.
