Lady Jackets top Etowah, Sardis, Hokes Bluff, Gadsden City

Glencoe posted a 26-24, 20-25, 25-21, 25-129 victory over Etowah last Tuesday (Oct. 5). For the Lady Yellow Jackets, Bri Beyerle had 19 kills, 15 digs, 14 assists, five blocks and two aces; Abi Bunt had 25 assists and 15 digs; Madalyn Amberson (pictured above) had 21 digs and six kills; Kinsley Gray had 16 digs and five kills; Kaelyn Hollis had nine digs; Emma Croy had six kills and five digs; and Hailey Hanners had four kills and four digs.

Glencoe defeated Sardis, 25-19, 17-25, 25-18, 25-17 last Monday (Oct. 4) in Sardis City. For the Lady Yellow Jackets, Bri Beyerle had 13 kills, followed by Emma Croy with seven, Madalyn Amberson with five and Abi Bunt and Kinslee Gray with three each. Beyerlee distribute 18 assists, while Bunt dished out four. Croy also had four aces. Gray came up with 23 digs, followed by Amberson with 19, Bunt with 15, Beyerle with 10, Kaelyn Hollis with nine and Croy with six.

Glencoe swept a tri match against Hokes Bluff and Gadsden City on September 30. The Lady Yellow Jackets defeated the Lady Eagles, 25-12, 24-26, 25-20, 25-14. For Glencoe, Bri Beyerle had 21 assists, 20 kills, 11 digs, two blocks and two aces; Kinslee Gray had 22 digs and five assists; Abi Bunt had 15 digs, 13 assists, and four kills; Madalyn Amberson had nine digs, seven kills, and two aces; and Hailey Hanners had seven digs, two blocks and two kills. The Lady Jackets then beat the Lady Titans, 25-9, 25-12. Beyerle had seven aces, six kills, six assists and six digs; Bunt had nine assists and two digs; Amberson had four kills and two digs; and Gray had four digs and two kills.
