Lady Panthers blank Randolph, head to state soccer quarterfinals

The Southside girls soccer team earned a berth in the Class 6A state soccer quarterfinals with a 3-0 win over Randolph on Monday, May 2 in Huntsville.
Cam Davis (pictured above) had a pair of assists in the first half for the Lady Panthers, one to Kelsey Jackson at the 30-minute mark on a corner kick and another to Alana Morton with 10 minutes to go in the first half. Morton set up Leah Lewis for Southside’s third goal with 16 minutes remaining in the game.
The Lady Panthers (17-3-2) host Springville in the state quarterfinals on either this Friday (May 6) or Saturday (May 7) at Barney Hood Stadium.
