Gaston rushes past Holly Pond

Gaston finished with 429 total offensive yards, including 409 on the ground, in a 28-26 victory over Class 2A, Region 6 rival Holly Pond on September 30.
For the Bulldogs (2-4, 1-2) Josh Hester (pictured above at right) rushed for 203 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries.
Kobe Harris gained 105 yards and scored a touchdown on 18 carries, while Joel Hester carried 10 times for 71 yards and a score. Trustin Granger added 30 yards on six attempts.
Gaston travels to Cleveland this Friday (Oct. 7) for more region action.
