There will be a good deal of speed and quickness on the field during tonight’s game in Rainbow City.

Much like Westbrook, Randolph County is built on speed.

“I’m pretty impressed with them,” Warrior coach Tony Osborne said. “They’ve got a talented team – a lot of quickness, but not that big.”

Senior quarterback Dontay Bell leads the Tigers.

“He’s tall, with long legs,” Osborne said. “He makes long strides so it doesn’t look like he’s running fast – but he gets his yards.”

Westbrook is on its third quarterback of the season in Joseph Schaeur. Osborne said it looks like Schaeur, who started the year as a running back, has settled in and is doing a good job.

“He competes hard and gives the team a boost of confidence,” the coach said. “Hopefully he won’t get injured and can finish the year for us.”
