Ashville handles Fultondale on homecoming

Ashville halted a four-game winless streak with a 38-14 victory over Class 4A, Region 6 rival Fultondale in the Bulldogs’ homecoming on September 30.
For Ashville (2-4, 1-2), Travis Smith rushed for 112 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries. Eli Reeves ran six times for 52 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Trevor Horsley finished with eight tackles, including three for a loss, and a sack. Hunter Pyle had two interceptions.
Greyson Simpson had eight tackles, followed by Layden Olson with five.
The Bulldogs hosts region foe Good Hope this Friday (Oct. 7).
