Ashville’s Northam reaches career milestone

The Ashville High volleyball. team won the Lady Lion Classic on Sept. 9 in Munford. The Lady Bulldogs (9-9, 1-1) defeated Saks and Winterboro, 2-0, 2-0 and beat Munford and Weaver, 2-1, 2-1. Lydia Northam (pictured above) reached the 500 career kills milestone against Weaver.
For the tournament for Ashville, Lydia Northam had 30 kills, 19 digs and 10 aces; Zahkiyla Cook had 22 digs, 15 aces and 12 kills; Ryleigh Cothran had 44 assists and seven aces; Molly Northam had 10 kills, eight aces and seven blocks and Brooklyn Mikus had 33 digs.
