Attalla plans event on Second Saturday

The city of Attalla plans its monthly street festival for the Second Saturday for the second straight month.

Last month, the festival — previously held on the first Saturday of each month — was moved to the second weekend in the month to avoid conflict with Gasden’s Riverfest.

For the month of July, city leaders elected to have the event on the second weekend of the month also.

Everyone is invited to come out to Attalla from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to see the car show, enjoy entertainment and children’s activities, visit vendors and downtown merchants and restaurants, which will be open late for the event.

Shop with downtown merchants and register for door prizes, to be given away at the Gazebo, at 7:30 p.m.
