Bulldogs, Eagles, Conquerors lose

Gaston fell to Cleveland, 45-13, in Class 2A, Region 7 action last Friday (Oct. 23) at CHS. The Bulldogs (6-3, 3-3) finished out the regular season this Friday (Oct. 30) at Pleasant Valley.

Hokes Bluff fell to Cleburne County, 28-7, in a Class 4A, Region 6
game on Friday (Oct. 23) at Heflin. The Eagles (2-7, 2-5) end their
season this Thursday (Oct. 30) at home against Locust Fork.

Coosa Christian fell to Spring Garden, 50-6, in the Conquerors’ final Class 1A, Region 7 game on Friday (Oct. 23) in Gadsden.
Coosa’s lone touchdown came on Caiden Lipscomb’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Wesley Grizzard with 2:24 remaining in the first half. The Conquerors’ (0-9) close out the season this Friday (Oct. 30) at Donoho.
