Coosa players recognized in prep football spotlight

Three players from Coosa Christian were recognized in the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s Prep Football Spotlight after the Conquerors’ 31-28 victory over Spring Garden in the second round of the Class 1A state playoffs on November 11.
Senior running back Jy Mostella rushed for 197 yards on 21 carries and scored two touchdowns and caught a 20-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. Senior receiver Jacoby Tucker (pictured tackling at right) caught five passes for 139 yards and a 72-yard touchdown reception His a 37-yard catch late in the game set up Jadan Burns’ game-winning field goal in the final seconds. Sophomore linebacker Clete O’Bryant had 18 tackles, including one for a loss.
