Eagles come up short to CCHS

Hokes Bluff fell to Cherokee County, 36-14, in Class 4A, Region 5 action last Friday (Oct. 26) in Centre. 

The Eagles (1-8, 0-7) got on the scoreboard late in the third quarter on Chase Beggs’ 31-yard touchdown run. 

Brad Robertson and Beggs later connected a 35-yard touchdown pass. 

Robertson completed 7-of-19 pass attempts for 133 yards. Beggs ran for 111 yards on 18 carries.

Hokes Bluff ends its season on Friday at home against Westbrook Christian.
