Most of this devotion is written by Sylvia Gunter, taken from the ministry of My Father’s Business. I share it with you, my readers, in hopes that it would resonate within your soul as it did mine. Not only was I encouraged by the reminder of God’s incredible love for me. I also found myself praying this love letter from our Father over others I know that are feeling hopeless with life and want to give up. Receive this today as a love letter from our Heavenly Father to you and my prayer is that you would be overwhelmed with His love for you!

My Beloved Child,

I am writing you today to let you know I am thinking of you. Actually, I am always thinking of you, because you are the apple of my eye. I created you unique and special. There has never been anyone else in the history of the world like you, and there never will be again. You are perfectly accepted in my beloved Son. You are never alone. You are hidden under the shadow of my wings. As you start your day today, I want to remind you that you are who you are because of who I am.

You are secure. Deuteronomy 33:12: “Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long.” Know today that I am covering you and have your back.

I am your defender and defense. Zechariah 9:15 (NKJV): The Lord of hosts will defend them.” Dear child, I am your defender and will always fight for you!

I am your hiding place. Psalm 32:7. You are my hiding place. When life gets weary, I can hide in Your safety.

You are lifted out of the depths. Psalm 30:1: You lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.”

I am your burden-bearer. Matthew 11:30: “For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Dear child, if you trust in me then the burdens of life will not be so burdensome.

The blood of the Lamb cleanses you from sin. 1 John 1:7: “The blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.”

I am your God, a consuming fire. Hebrews 12:29. Our God is a consuming fire.

You are my handiwork. Ephesians 2:10: “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus.” I created you, designed you ever before you were conceived in your mother’s womb. You have always been on my mind from the beginning of time.

I am your Creator. Ecclesiastes 12:1: “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth.” Never forget that you were created by me to do good works and that I truly want the very best for you as you obey me.

You are encouraged. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: “May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts.”

I am your comforter. Isiah 51:12 I: “Even I, am He who comforts you.” If you are going through rough times right now, know that it is my heart to comfort you.

You have a place prepared. John 14:2-3: “In my Father’s house are many rooms.” I am going there to prepare a place for you. Each person that has accepted me as their personal Savior can rest in knowing that I have prepared a much better place for you than what you currently have here on earth. You are just passing through this life. Soon you will be with Me for eternity in a much better place.

You know all things work for good. Romans 8:28: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God.” Trust me that I am working in all things to bring about good for you.

May you know of my love for you today, my child!

With love, from your Heavenly Father.
