Hammett signs football pact

Etowah High School senior Dakota Hammett signed a football scholarship to Reinhardt University in the Wyman Townsel Field House at Etowah High School on April 5. Hammett was a star lineman for the Blue Devils, which finished the 2011 season with a 10-2 record. Hammett is pictured (seated, front middle) with his parents on either side of him and surrounded by the  Etowah football coaching staff. Hammett is the second player to sign a football scholarship this spring and is not expected to be the last.
