Lady Cardinals beat Wallace-Selma

Gadsden State improved to 6-1 on the season with a 69-61 victory over Wallace State-Selma on Monday, Nov. 27 at Beck Gymnasium. For the Lady Cardinals, Victoria Winslett (pictured above) had 23 points, five rebounds and three steals; Savannah Seals scored 13 points; Kyla Torok had 10 points, five rebounds and five blocks; Jaedyn Speights scored 10 points; Alicia Reyes had seven points and seven rebounds; and Kaitlyn Hill had 13 assists and six rebounds.

Gadsden State fell to Northeast Mississippi Community College, 81-58, on Nov. 30 in Booneville, Miss. Aaliyah Gaddis came off the bench for a game-high 13 points for the Lady Cardinals (6-2), while Jaedyn Speights and Victoria Winslett each scored 11. Speights pulled down eight rebounds, followed by Kyla Trok with seven and Gaddis and Alicia Reyes with five each. Speights and Kaitlyn Hill had five and four assists, respectively.
