West End defeated Westbrook Christian, 17-13, in Class 2A, Region 6 action on October 1 in Walnut Grove.
For the Patriots (4-3, 2-2), Tyler Jones was 5 for 13 in passing for 108 yards. Thad Pearce had four receptions for 68 yards. Isaiah Roberson rushed 17 times for 106 yards. Jones added 39 yards on nine carries.
Rockman Sainsbury and Ashton Self each had seven tackles, followed by Jake Edwards and Malachi Whisnenant with six each and Tristen Allen and Connor Proctor with five each.
For the Warriors (2-4, 1-3), Karmichael Catling had 26 carries for 176 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Coley gained 83 yards on nine attempts.
Both teams continue region play this Friday (Oct. 8). West End hosts Sand Rock, while Westbrook hosts Spring Garden.
