People who know me know how much I love worship music. If you were asked the question of what helps you enter the Lord’s presence faster than anything, what would you say? Some would say praying, reading the Word, taking a walk or listening to a sermon, but for me it is listening to worship music.
Worship music that lifts up the name of Jesus or says what my heart longs for when it comes to my relationship with Jesus, this is what helps me enter His presence faster than anything else. Usually, the Lord will lead me to a worship song each year that depicts where I am or what I am praying for in my own walk with Him for the current year.
This year, the name of that song is, “Touch of Heaven” by Hillsong Worship on its most recent album, There is More. If you have never listened or heard of Hillsong, I encourage you to do so. Hillsong is definitely and by far one of the most, if not the most, anointed worship team on this earth.

The song’s chorus hit home with me the most, which says, “Lord, I know my heart wants more of You, my heart wants something new, so I surrender all. All I want is to live within Your love be undone by who You are, my desire is to know You deeper. Lord I will open up again, throw my fears into the wind, I am desperate for a touch of heaven.” This has become my prayer, my desire, and also my challenge. I pray that this song would do the same for you, and that ultimately, we would all be “undone” by who He is.
Lord, I pray that we would live within your love today, throw our fears into the wind, and desire to know you deeper. I pray that we would be willing to surrender all to You, so that we can be undone by who You are and experience a touch of heaven. We love you and want more of you!
