Hokes Bluff earned its second Class 3A Region 6 victory with a 47-21 win over Westbrook Christian on Sept. 22.
For the Eagles (2-2, 2-1), Alex Carter rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. Bryce Whitaker added 94 yards and a touchdown on nine attempts, while Blain Brown ran 17 times for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Whitaker was 4 for 7 in passing for 85 yards and two scores. Anderson Morgan had two receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown.
Coleman McGinnis finished with 10 tackles, followed by Drew McCarver with seven and Morgan and Colten Shields with six each. McCarver and Morgan each had an interception.
For the Warriors (2-2, 1-2), Graysen Carroll finished with 339 overall passing and rushing yards. He was 14 for 27 in passing for 213 yards and a touchdown and carried 18 times for 126 yards and two TDs.
Lamycal Mitchell had six receptions for 142 yards and a touchdown, while Cooper Greer caught four passes for 66 yards.
Titus Jones had 11 tackles, followed by Brody Blevins with eight, Max Legg and Brodey Wood with six each and Eggo Alabbasi and Jake Haney with five each. Jones had a sack and Blevins had an interception.
Both teams step out of region play on Friday, Sept. 29. Hokes Bluff travels to White Plains, while Westbrook hosts Section.
