Westbrook setter reaches milestone

Westbrook Christian sophomore setter Raylee Neal was recognized for her 1,000th career assist prior to the Lady Warriors’ volleyball match against Hokes Bluff on Tuesday, Oct. 3 in Rainbow City. On Tuesday, Oct. 3, Westbrook clinched its second straight Class 3A Area 11 title with a 25-17, 25-17, 25-12 victory over Hokes Bluff. For the No. 8 Lady Warriors (23-9, 4-0), Neal had 14 assists, four aces and one kill; Cox had nine digs, for kills and four aces; Lipscomb had seven kills, five aces and one block; Stewart had seven kills; Harrell had six digs, four kills and one ace; and Taylor had three kills and three digs.
