Timothy James Griffith

Timothy James Griffith, 59, of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on Nov. 9. He was born on May 20, 1966, to the late Pat Ray Griffith and Gloria Dian (Daugherty) Griffith.

Timothy worked as a truck driver for many years and took great pride in his work. He had a deep love for the outdoors, especially fishing, and he was an avid Alabama football fan. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who cherished time spent with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Cleveland Griffith and Hazel Adams Griffith, and James Henry Daugherty and Virginia Judy Bartlett; and his brother, David Ray Griffith.

Timothy is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Griffith; his children, Kerry (Sharon) Griffith, Timothy Blake Griffith, Christopher (B.J.) McCown, Jeremy (Kelley) McCown and Amanda Campbell; grandchildren, Lauren Baker-Smith, Makayla Baker, Colton Divine, Machara Campbell, Jaylen McCown, Sarah Camo, Reid McCown, Courtney McCown, Hunter Pogue, Ruby Saylor Griffith and Arya Katherine Griffith; sisters, Tammie (Richard) Carroll and Patsy (Shawn) Saucedo; and his special fur baby, Sassy.
