The East Alabama Partnership for Livable Communities in conjunction with the The Chamber of Gadsden-Etowah County will host a second round County Conversation for residents of Etowah County to talk about livability in the county and how it affects their quality of life.

This conversation builds on the activities of the first County Conversation and will be a two-way discussion where citizens can voice their opinion and feedback on what makes Etowah County livable.

Goals will be identified and ranked by participants, which will drive the CLEAR Plan 2030.

Second round County Conversations are taking place throughout the East Alabama Region (Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Randolph, Talladega and Tallapoosa Counties). These Conversations are open to all residents of region. If you can’t make your County’s Conversation, please attend another nearest to you.

The project title is CLEAR Plan 2030, which describes the long range planning process for Community Livability for the East Alabama Region.

This is a local, grass roots planning effort for the regions’ 470,000 residents throughout the East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commissions planning jurisdiction.

The Etowah County Conversation will be held on July 23 from 6-7:30 p.m. The Conversation will be held at the The Chamber of Gadsden-Etowah County, located at 1 Commerce Square, Gadsden, Alabama.
